All initial product testing is conducted in-house with our Product Development Team, and then once a formula is liked, externally tested for quality control, performance indicators, claims, and packaging compatibility.
Alûstre has a unique naming system according to how light travels through a diamond. We assign a numeric value spanning from 000 to 999 to each product, and for our nail polishes, create colour groupings according to their base tones.

All of Alûstre’s products are tested and certified by an external regulatory body to ensure an accurate and high Natural Origin Index. Our products range from 67-100% naturality.
Alûstre is committed on making the most sustainable and responsible choices for our products and shipping materials. We are actively monitoring and improving upon our sustainable practices to use more post-consumer materials, ocean-bound plastic, and refillable packaging.
Our diamonds are ethically sourced from a supplier with over 120 years of excellence in adherence to the Kimberley Process, Global Compact Act and ethical trading standards.
Alûstre does not test on animals and ensures that our suppliers abide by the European law which bans animal testing.
